Ian Penman - Chairman
Ian is the Chairman of the Company, having worked in IT for over 30 years. Ian also runs another successful company, TimePlan Education, the largest teacher supply resource in London. Ian has 2 daughters and lives in Hertfordshire.

Nigel Trickey - Managing Director
Nigel began his career in Estate Agency in 1982 and soon developed an interest in computing. He joined forces with co-director Ian Penman in April 1989 and was instrumental in developing software and communications modules for release to team agents in 1990. Nigel is married to Linda and they have a son, Daniel.
Nigel's hobbies include golf and he plays an 18 handicap at local courses in Hertfordshire.

Troy Stanley - Technical Director
Troy joined Resource Techniques in 1996. Initially trained as an aircraft engineer, followed by 10 years working within both corporate and latterly independent Estate Agency. Troy has experience in most areas of Resource Techniques business including sales, training, software development, internet strategy and development and has been responsible for developing our business interests overseas.
More recently based in our London office Troy is responsible for the day to day running of our business.

Trudie Woods - Web Services Account Manger
Having joined Resource Techniques in January 2002, Trudie's hard work and dedication to customer service and her interest in design and technology was rewarded in 2006 being promoted to her current role within our fast growing Web services business. Trudie now manages the production of web sites from initial build to completion as well as on going maintenance.
Outside of work Trudie enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym several times a week, Salsa classes and Socializing at the weekends!

Holly Copus - Technical Support
Holly joined RT in February 2003 as the company receptionist. It didn't take long for her to demonstrate a keen enthusiasm toward customer support, and after quickly attaining the necessary skills, she moved into a permanent support role. Holly now talks with customers on a daily basis, offering support and advice on the use of our products, as well as being a key contact for Team Surveyors.
Some of Holly's favourite pastimes include, dancing, swimming, and interior decorating.

Silvia Solcova - Web Services Support
Silvia joined RT in September 2006 after working for an internet cafe, where she provided support to customers and maintained the computer network. Silvia works on reception looking after the office administration and also provides front line application support.
In her free time she likes to meet friends, enjoys skiing and swimming.

Maureen Copus - Receptionist
Maureen joined our team in February 2008 as our new office administrator. Maureen will be the first point of contact for dealing with your queries and is keen to help ensure you receive a great service from RT.
Whilst not working, Maureen likes to dance, paint and enjoy the precious things in life.

Bryn Phillips - Project Manager
Bryn joined RT in 2001, initially as a software trainer. Two years later, he took a different direction and began focusing on software development. Bryn currently takes responsibility for ensuring a reliable IT infrastructure at RT's offices, whilst giving ongoing in-house consultation in the depths of software methodology and development.
Outside work, Bryn spends many hours honing his musical skills, and is a proficient guitarist and violinist with over 20 years' experience.

James Ellis - Application Support
James has been at RT since 2000 and thus commands a great deal of knowledge when it comes to the software package. He is always happy to answer any question however large or small, whether technical or help getting the most out of the application. Having worked in agency for over 5 years, including a spell with North London TEAM agents Prickett & Ellis, James knows what agents want from the software.
James enjoys regularly going to watch the (almost) all conquering Arsenal as well as cycling & swimming.

Paul Alexander - Web Designer
Paul moved from Australia to London last August to further his career in web design. He brings with him 4 years experience within Australia's leading online real estate portal. His primary responsibilities at Resource Techniques include, W3C standards code, CSS and design.
He currently enjoys going on tannery tours.

Peter Blaszkiewicz - Web Designer
Over the past six years Peter has worked in various industries. These include online gaming, film, retail and entertainment. His expertise comes with CSS, (X)HTML, Flash and design, he always work following the strict W3C-guidelines.
His inspiration comes from travel, photography, hours in gym and good food.

Paolo De Luca - Web Designer
Paolo joined RT in 2008 after moving from Italy to London in 2006 to complete his studies and undertake new challenges in his career.
He has a MSc in Multimedia Systems from the London Metropolitan University and a passion for Flash and After Effects.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends, eating sushi and being a mac geek.

Katie David - Web Designer
Katie Studied in Ireland and obtained a BSc in IT Management. She has worked in the IT industry for many years involving system support, web design and marketing. She has worked closely with the media industry and is fully conversant with property agencies having come from a family of property developers and estate agents.
In her spare time Katie enjoys playing saxophone and keeping fit by swimming and working out at the gym.

Aaron Navarro โ Developer
Aaron began his career in IT as a webmaster in the US in 1998. Since then he has been steadily growing with the technology and came to the UK in 2005 where he has been working in the property market since. Aaron joined resource techniques in 2007 as a Senior C# Developer. His day-to-day responsibilities involve development work on several projects and helping to shape the direction of new products.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time in the Kent countryside, watching a good movie, and on rare occasion may even get around to updating his blog.

Ahmad Zia - Developer
Before joining Resource Techniques in April 2001 Ahmad was employed by an insurance company in the city where he handled software solutions. He has a BSC (Hons) Degree in Computing Studies, has been working as software developer since 1999, joined RT in April, 2001. He currently works on our core software solution on both client & server side of the application.
In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym and playing football.

Majid has been working for RT quite awhile. His main responsibilities include development of our core server software and client programs such as Rescom.

Ian Jagger - Developer
Ian joined RT in October 2005 after several years experience of programming in a variety of languages. Ian develops the backend systems within our web services business that ensures the data on our customer's websites is instantly updated. He has also developed several of our property portal sites integrating them with data feeds from numerous sources.
In his spare time he enjoys going to music festivals and trying to learn German.

Frank Birch - Developer
Frank joined Resource Techniques in late 2006 as a Web Applications developer. He has been involved in various aspects of software development throughout his career, primarily in the Telecommunications industry and is enjoying being involved in a completely different commercial area.
When out of the office, he enjoys keeping fit, spending time with his two daughters and drinking good coffee.

Rui Wu - Systems Administrator
Rui has an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Liverpool. His role within the company includes optimizing and maintenance of the internal office network of the, Performing security testing and vulnerability analysis of new and existing systems as well as providing software and hardware support.
He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and his Interests outside of work are Football, movies and music.

Colin Chaffer - Business Account Manager
Colin has worked as an Estate Agent for fifteen years. During this time he worked both as an independent agent and for one of the corporate companies โ Prudential Property Services. It was whilst with Prudential that Colin took on the role of Computer Trainer. Colin joined Resource Techniques in 1998 and has enjoyed various roles including training, business development and website management.

Peter Brunt - Business Account Manager
Peter has been in estate agency since 1979 and has experience of both the independent and corporate estate agency sectors. He also ran is own agency in Bristol prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2001. His role encompasses software installation, training, sales and account management. He has been the Chairman of The Bristol and Bath NAEA since 1995. Peters partner Jayne is also in estate agency and between them have five children.
His hobbies include tinkering with computers and DIY.

Andy Claridge - Business Account Manager (Web Services)
Andy assists both new and existing customers on suitable web products & services for their online business strategy, with a particular focus on individual web site solutions. His background is in H.R. estate agency and I.T. He worked for many years as an estate agent in Somerset, prior to joining Resource Techniques in 2005. He is currently studying for CIW certification.
In his spare time, Andy's interests include the country, DIY and ballroom dancing.

Dean Webb โ Business Account Manager (Team Account)
Dean started his career in Estate Agency in 1995 and has experience working for both Corporate and Independent Estate Agencies.
In 2005 Dean took the opportunity of working within a Large international IT Re-seller as an account manager selling IT products and services to Central Government Departments.
Dean found that he missed the buzz of Estate Agency, but enjoyed the challenge of Account Management and found the best of both Worlds here at Resource Techniques incorporating his experience of both Estate Agency and Account Management.

David Reed - Business Account Manager
An enthusiastic and experienced sales and marketing director with over 14 years experience of project management, sales and marketing together with extensive organisational skills and motivational expertise. David started his career in retail sales and before moving onto business to business sales spent 6 years in estate agency during which time he managed several branches taking on a trouble shooting role in the region.
Outside of work, David is kept busy by his twins and in particular by his son's insistence to try and beat him at tennis!
